Rounding off May, we team up again with the Earnest Endeavours crew to bring you another intimate party, this time we’re bringing over the legendary Dabrye for his first show in London for years.
Dabrye has influenced a generation of producers and artists and is often credited with unwittingly playing a pivotal role in the “beats” movement that has birthed the likes of Flying Lotus, Gaslamp Killer et al. From his work with J Dilla to Doom or under his alter egos as Tadd Mullinix his catalogue is impressive – check out the series of albums released on Ghostly International for proof.
Earnest Endeavours are also celebrating the launch of their next releases from the LA/NYC duo Widows – their self-titled EP is scheduled for a May 21st release, and they’ll be in town too, alongside the resident selectors Kutmah and Patchwork Pirates.
